Itinerary

At 8:00 we will pick you up at your hotel and head in a 4x4 vehicle to Pichu Pichu volcano. It's about a two-hour journey. Along the way, we pass through the picturesque village of Chiguata, with a backdrop of the El Misti volcano.

At about 4200 meters at the so-called La Cruz point, we will begin our mountain bike descent. It's a descent on dirt roads, and the total time until we return to Chiguata is about 2 hours. During the descent, the landscape will gradually change from a typical Andean landscape to one with green meadows and the typical Inca terraces, which you can see all over Peru. The ride ends in Chiguata, but if there's still enough enthusiasm, we can continue to Arequipa on paved roads.

A support vehicle will be present during the descent.

What does the packet include

• Rigid mountain bike (aluminum frame, front suspension, 29" wheels, hydraulic brakes system, 18 - 22 speeds).
• Gloves: Wind-resistant, full-fingered gloves that can also be used during cold weather or at high altitudes.
• Helmet: Lightweight, ventilated, and comfortable for your head.
• Elbow and knee pads available upon request.
• Plenty of snacks and drinking water.
• Oxygen and first aid kit for all participants and our camp staff.
• Repair kit and spare parts.
